What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is smart casual. We encourage you to wear polos, casual dresses, or comfortable shoes in fall colors like burgundy, burnt orange, olive, forest green, or black. Please dress comfortably for a day in nature!

Will there be food and drinks at the event?

Answer

There will be no food or drinks provided while you’re spending your day at Yosemite, but don’t worry! Food and drinks will be available at the reception, so make sure to join us for a celebration afterward!

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is limited parking available at the venue. If you need additional parking, there will be spaces at 12214 Road 37 3/4, Madera, CA 93636. Please contact Christie Harvey if you plan to park there and need a ride to the venue.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we kindly ask that you do not bring a plus-one unless they are specifically listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be any hiking or outdoor activities?

Answer

Yes, we may have a short hike with some dust, rocks, and other allergens, so please come prepared with comfortable shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. We encourage everyone to explore the beautiful views of Yosemite during the event!

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Please arrive a bit early to find your seat and take in the beautiful surroundings!

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes, our ceremony will be outdoors, surrounded by the natural beauty of Yosemite. Be sure to dress comfortably for the weather, and be prepared for any changes in temperature.

We love kids, but please refer to your invitation for specific details. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us for clarification.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please enjoy the ceremony and let our photographer capture the special moments. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos after the ceremony!

Will there be a place to change clothes?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will not be a designated place to change clothes. Please bring a blanket or towel and be prepared to change near your car or in public restrooms. Thank you for your understanding!
