We first connected online, though we quickly discovered we already had many mutual friends. Our first date at Schatzi’s Pub in Poughkeepsie in July of 2021 was where it all started. From the moment we sat down, the conversation flowed and we didn’t want the night to end. Since then, life has been one big adventure. If it involves the outdoors, we’re in. Whether we’re snowmobiling, hiking, camping, kayaking, or just spending time with our dog, Russell—these are the moments we treasure most. The Adirondacks, and especially Inlet, hold a special place in our hearts. It’s been Jenn’s favorite vacation spot since she was a child, and over time, it became ours as well. So when Dan planned the perfect proposal, he knew it had to happen there. On December 21, 2024, during a surprise trip to Inlet, Dan got down on one knee at Arrowhead Park—the very first spot Jenn showed him when he first visited in 2021. That day marked the start of our next chapter, and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives adventuring together, side by side.
