Currently, The State of Hawai'i requires travelers to produce a negative covid-19 test administered within 72 hours of travel. This is updated often and we, as well as our planner remain up to date and ensure that our wedding will be safe for all. If testing regulations change with the vaccine accessibility rising, we will let you know here! We encourage vaccinations (roughly 48/60 invited guests are fully vaccinated as of May 16, 2021)
Although the CDC has recently loosened mask regulations for fully vaccinated individuals, allowing mask removal outdoors, and around other vaccinated humans - We will ask that every guest remains in accordance with the local regulations under the county of Maui. At this time, masks are required while walking to the Venue (once there, if comfortable - you may remove)
Totally legitimate question and the answer is, yes! We have worked hard to secure a location, a planner and an event size that ensures your safety (and ours!) The county of Maui allows for professionally operated events - such as this - to have a maximum capacity of 100 including staff. We have capped our list at just 50 to be extra cautious. Only our closest friends and family will be joining us. If you are reading this now, we hope you join us.
Kapalua experiences steady 75-85 degree weather in August with notable humidity - welcome to Maui! We encourage gentleman to sport collared shirts / slacks and or shorts and ladies to wear anything you feel best in (no denim please!)
Our ceremony will be outdoors on a manicured lawn around sunset. The reception will be in the early evening, shortly thereafter - inside the Steeple House (doors / windows open)
While the Venue has on-site parking for up to 30 vehicles, we recommend that our local friends & family safely carpool if possible.
Formal Invitations will be sent roughly 2 months prior. There, we will include the full details of our day as well as additional, updated information regarding how we are best ensuring your safety. We will kindly ask your RSVP status at that time.
