Fun Fact: We Met at a Bernie Sanders Rally
First comes #Progress, then comes #Marriage :)
Our initial meeting was virtually through Facebook group networking-- both Alex and Serena were building networks in Wisconsin to link people together! Alex found Serena through her "Making New Friends In Northern Wisconsin" group, and they began networking with one another! Later, we both independently RSVP'd to an event held by Bernie Sanders in Wausau, Wisconsin! Alex was volunteering for the event! Serena and her parents went to support the Progressive message and was greeted by Alex's big smile at the doors of The Grand. The rally was a success and Alex and Serena later met up with friends to get to know each other! The rest is history! <3
