Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Since this is an international trip, you do need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. Passports normally take 4-6 weeks to process but due to COVID-19, they can take up to 12 weeks. We suggest applying a minimum of 5 months in advance as a precaution.

Question

Answer

Question

CAN I USE USD DOLLARS? WHAT'S THE CURRENCY?

Answer

Yes, many resorts, tours, and stores take both USD and pesos, but be sure to prepare your credit and debit cards. Call your bank and let them know the dates you will be gone. Charges made at the resort or elsewhere on your trip may be subject to a foreign transaction fee by your bank (normally 1-3%). The local currency is the Mexican peso, although US dollars are easy to exchange should you wish to take foreign currency with you.

RATES are broken down on our custom link when you click "View" provided under "Travel + Accommodations" 3. ALL-INCLUSIVE - Rates include all snacks, meals, drinks (even alcoholic drinks!), hotel taxes and fees. 4. TRAVEL INSURANCE is optional but HIGHLY recommended 5. Question

WHAT ARE THE COVID TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS TRAVELING TO AND FROM MEXICO?

Answer

We will provide updates as we get them. As of now, there is no COVID test needed to enter Mexico but in order to enter back into the United States, you will need to take a COVID test. The Omni does provide on site testing for a fee ( I believe it is approximately $50 usd but when we know more details we will update )

Question

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE A DESTINATION WEDDING? IS IT OK TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO?

Answer

While we understand that not everyone will be able to join us, we want to spend as much quality time as possible with our dearest friends and family. Since our families are located anywhere from the Pacific to the East Coast, we wanted to bring everyone together in a place where we can celebrate while also vacationing! As with anywhere in the world, it pays to stay informed and practice sensible precautions when traveling here. Tourism authorities in Mexico and the US Dept. recently mentioned that the rarity of criminal events occur miles away from the hotel zone. It is worth bearing in mind when planning your travel that crime can occur anywhere. We want you to be safe, but most importantly, understand that traveling is safe and we want you to enjoy your vacation in Mexico!
