In 2016, in a Live Sound class at Shoreline Community College was the first time our paths crossed. After Quinn had to drop the First Quarter of the class due to scheduling conflicts, Alexander wanted to take the Second Quarter for two reasons; One being that the class was a very good class! The other reason that there might be a chance that Quinn was able to enroll and stay in the class this time. As the class got split off into two groups, Alexander carefully calculated where to place himself in the circle to ensure he was placed in the same group as Quinn. After a couple sessions in class, finally a good opportunity presented itself for Alexander to get to know Quinn some more. There was a lull in the class, a piece of lint, and a shirt pocket that he encouraged Quinn to throw the lint into. A solid friendship was born, and within a couple weeks - another opportunity showed itself to Alexander. Quinn had to come into school to record some Voice Over session for a movie that was being done by another class. Alexander had a recording session with a few musicians that Quinn was relatively close with, so Alexander asked her if she wanted to sit in on the session. She sat in his "Captains Chair", which meant that Alexander just HAD to sit in her lap. At the end of the night, he thought to himself that maybe she was maybe enjoying her time with him enough to ask her out. This was done via Messenger, and it was an invitation on a "Self Date" and one of the most awkward and flustered message that was ever sent in the history of all messages. The following week, Quinn and Alexander were inseparable leading up to the official day of the Date, so many trial dates were had. Life was good, and has been good since.
