We're getting Married!

Alex and Olivia both went to Lakeland University for college. They ran in similar circles and became good friends. A few months later, on February 12, 2019, they started to officially date.

Shortly after he graduated in May of 2020, Alex got accepted to Thrust Flight Institute in Dallas, Texas to continue his aviation education. Because most classes were still online at this time, Olivia decided to accompany him for the fall semester of her junior year of college. With that, they made the move along with their college friends to a brand new state and a brand new phase of life.

When Olivia graduated from Lakeland in 2022, she moved down to Texas fulltime to live with Alex, who had finished flight school at that point and was working for the school as a Certified Flight Instructor. Soon after, Olivia got hired by the flight school as a dispatcher while she worked on her flight attendant application to Southwest Airlines. Alex moved up to Assistant Chief Pilot in 2023, while Olivia graduated from Southwest Flight Attendant training a few months later. Now, Alex works as a Captain for Generation Jets doing medical transport flights in the southwestern states, making medical care more accessible for rural communities, while Olivia is in her third year as a flight attendant. They both LOVE their jobs and look forward to many more years in the industry <3

Olivia's family had an Italian vacation planned, and Alex was able to join at the last minute. The nine days in Italy were blissful (and HOT! Don't go in the middle of August). On August 12, 2023, while Alex and Olivia were in Bellagio near Lake Como, Alex proposed. And of course, Olivia said yes.
