FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! (Mostly.) We’re registered for a few cash fund "buckets" here on Zola. To be honest, putting together a registry was harder than we expected. We’re both a little awkward about asking for things, and got overwhelmed almost immediately by the idea of having to choose a set of forks to go on the registry. So we decided to keep it simple for us and for our guests with a few flexible "buckets" that can go toward things we know we’ll use and enjoy, or things we’ll realize we want or need down the road. All that being said, we’re also grateful for gifts outside the registry, including physical gift cards or favorite household items.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Doors will open at 4:30 PM. The venue has another event earlier in the day, so the staff will be turning the space over before our reception. If you get to the neighborhood a little early, no worries! There’s a dive bar right across the street, plus plenty of shops and restaurants nearby if you’d like to wander around before heading in.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No official "dress code", but think western garden party attire: Dress up! Boots encouraged! Black welcome! Sequins, rhinestones and bolo ties highly approved! We will be having a taco bar and rodeo disco reception where some people may be seated outdoors so dress comfortably for the weather and for dancing, but please, skip casual wear.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking near the venue can be limited and tricky, and the venue only has a small amount available. If possible, we recommend staying nearby, carpooling, or planning to use a rideshare/taxi so the night is a little easier.
