As high school sweethearts, our love story did not start out with romantic love. We started our journey years before we started dating, as best friends. Participating in many of the same after school activities, having the same friend group, and spending so many free periods together, we grew to love each other as friends. Then senior year, something changed between us. Both terrified to ruin our great friendship, we were hesitant to say how we really felt, but January 2019, we made it official, ending our high school time as a couple. The next four years of long distance in college in the middle of the pandemic lockdown was grueling. Being four hours apart, mixed with the strict no visitors policy our college campuses enforced meant we only saw each other a couple times a semester if we were lucky. Phone calls became our new normal and we focused on the positives of our situation. We both made great friend groups, participated in clubs and events, and most importantly, made sure our relationship was our top priority always. We still had many fun times together, seeing plays at Playhouse Square, summer roadtrips, exploring Cleveland and Dayton together, and everything in between. Graduation meant our time apart was over and we could not have been more thrilled. It was time to embark on our new chapter, and start new adventures with each other back in the same city. Together we have, been to countless baseball games, explored Philadelphia, Charleston, Gatlinburg, London, Dublin to name a few, gone to concerts, every hiking trail we can, and so much more. In January of 2025, we went to one of their favorite spots in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park on the coldest day of the year. Alexander got down on one knee and asked the question he knew I would say yes to. With a new ring on a frost bitten finger, we began the start of forever. We are beyond happy to spend the rest of our life, not just with the love of our life, but our best friend in the whole world. We are so happy you can join us on one of the happiest days of our time together, and be with us as we start our new chapter together as husband and wife.
