AJ and Lydia first met in August of 2024 while Lydia was visiting YWAM Boston before attending DTS. AJ is quick to tell anyone that when they first met, Lydia ignored him completely.

During the duration of Lydia's DTS, the Lord began to move in both of their hearts, bringing them together. Upon completion of the program, they began pursuing a relationship.

They knew from the beging that there was nothing casual about their relationship, God had so clearly spoken to both of them regarding one another and what the future would hold for them.

Having each of them having heard so clearly from the Lord, they didn't see the point in waiting before starting forever; & in true Lydia fashion, they began planning their wedding a week into dating.

Good thing too, because on May 31, 2025, AJ made it official by asking for her hand in marriage while visiting Niagara Falls State Park.
