Please RSVP by December 31 to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

For all guests, a complimentary shuttle will take you from Edinburgh Bus Station to Borthwick Castle at 11:00 am. The same shuttle will return guests not staying at the castle to the bus station at midnight. For those staying in the castle, please arrive at noon by Uber or Taxi. The next morning, please prearrange for an Uber or Taxi to pick you up by 10:30 am.

Can I bring a plus-one?

All guests are strictly invite-only due to availability. If you would like to bring kids, please reach out to us using the emails provided above.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be semiformal. For women, this often means a nice dress. Men can opt for a suit, a blazer with dress pants, or a well-fitted sport coat paired with dress pants. Men may choose to wear a kilt. For the men, darker colors are preferred. Temperature and weather in Scotland can be cold and rainy, so please bring a jacket or other warm clothes.
