Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please let us know if you can celebrate with us, by the 30th of November 2024, so we can make sure you are catered for.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4pm. Please ensure you arrive at least 20-30 minutes early as to ensure we can start on time.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There sure is, there is a large parking lot at the Geraldton Surf Club. Geraldton also has taxi services and e-scooters for those who don't want to drive.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the grassed area in front of the surf club. The reception will be held upstairs at the surf club, however, there is a lift if needed.

Are children allowed at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, we are having a family friendly celebration.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, but please share them with the bride and groom. There is also a Photo Challenge that will be happening. Photo Challenge card will be floating around.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail (smart casual) attire. We will be getting married on grass so be cautious with heels!

What is the weather like in Geraldton in April?

Answer

The weather averages around 28 degrees during the day and about 15 degrees at night.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will indoors.

Do we need to bring a present?

Answer

There will be a wishing well for the honeymoon fund at the reception with a sign of instructions. No present is necessary but if you wish to give one, you can do this at any time after the wedding.

Where should I sit?

Answer

There will be limited seating available at the ceremony, with some being reserved the bride and grooms immediate family. There will be plenty of standing room around the ceremony. At the reception, it will be a cocktail style event, with a range of seating available. Feel free to sit where you like at the reception.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

We would love those who are still around on Sunday to join us for lunch at the Geraldton Foreshore BBQs near Jaffle Shack kiosk for a BYO lunch at 1 pm. As there is limited tables and space it will be a good idea to bring a picnic rug or chair so some sort.
