We met at a mutual friends house, spent a night out together, went home (for Laura this was Michigan, for Alex this meant Northern Virginia) and never thought we’d see each other again. Yet, fate doesn’t let you forget faces or feelings. After long distance talking for a few short months we took the plunge to begin a life together in Grand Rapids, Michigan in late 2015. We learned each other’s ways of life, all while molding together to find the perfect “us”. I proposed in the most socially uncomfortable way possible- NYC, middle of the day. (For me, that is) Big lights, big show. That’s how she wanted it. With that grand gesture out of the way we wanted to pursue our family. November 16, 2018 our little button, Sutton Eliza Kinsey was born. We’re learning the ways of a three person and four animal family and have built the perfect house. So, we are now ready to tie it all together with a ceremony and brunch celebration including those who are closest to us. We cannot wait to share moments, stories, a meal, mimosas and Bloody Mary’s with you all! Here’s to 2020 and another milestone! “You have a place in my heart no one else ever could have.” F.
