Answer

My Farm – Wine, Pasta & Vineyard in One Day: This Airbnb Experience offers a Tuscan countryside experience in one day. Guests visit a family farm where you’ll tour the vineyard, enjoy a wine tasting with recommended food pairings, and learn about local winemaking traditions. If you find a favorite, bottles can be shipped back to the U.S. The experience includes a hands-on pasta-making class, where you'll learn to make traditional Italian pasta from scratch. At the end, everyone gathers to enjoy the meal together alongside the farm’s wines. Cost per person in is $130 USD. There are only 20 spots available, so please let us know if you're interested. Question

Dining Culture

Answer

Dining in Italy is meant to be enjoyed slowly. Restaurant service may feel more relaxed than in the United States, as meals are intended to be a time to gather, linger, and enjoy good food and conversation. It’s common for dinners to last a couple of hours, and servers typically will not rush you or bring the check unless you ask for it. If you're ready to pay, simply ask. Many restaurants close between lunch and dinner. Dinner typically begins around 7:30–8:00 pm.

Question

Cash vs. Cards

Answer

Most places accept credit cards, but smaller cafés, taxis, or markets may prefer cash. It’s helpful to carry a small amount of euros.
