To those unfamiliar with the front range of Colorado, here's the basic rundown of key locations as they pertain to our wedding: Wedding Venue - The Pines at Genesee is located near Golden, CO. It is approximately 35 minutes west of Denver and about 1 hour west of Denver International Airport (DIA). The closest towns/cities are Evergreen, Golden, Morrison, and Lakewood. DIA Airport - Denver's primary airport is located approximately 30-45 minutes north east of Downtown Denver, and is approximately 1 hour from the Wedding Venue. For those staying with/near family, Kathy and AJ's parents primarily live between Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch. AJ's mom's house is located in Castle Rock which is about 30-40 minutes south of Denver. Kathy's parents live in Highlands Ranch which is about 20-30 minutes south of Denver. Parking - There is ample parking at the venue but carpooling is encouraged as Uber/Taxi/Lyft availability at the end of the wedding may be scarce. Guests who choose to drive to the venue are allowed to leave their cars overnight, but must be picked up by 10 AM the next day.
