Three airports to consider : LAX, BUR, or LGB

The Los Angeles area airports : LAX , BUR (Burbank), and LGB ( Long Beach.) LAX is the large main one with an abundance of direct flights from all over the world ( about a 40 minutes drive from the ceremony). Burbank airport is smaller & closest to the ceremony in Glendale (10mins). Renting cars in Burbank is very easy. The rentals are on the premises and you walk to rental counters without a need for a shuttle bus. But there are limited direct flights from the east coast with only a couple of flights from New York and Boston. Airlines present : Southwest, Jetblue, Alaska, American, Delta, United. https://hollywoodburbankairport.com/flight-information/ Long Beach Airport (LGB) is about 45 minutes from the ceremony. It's also smaller than LAX. Recently remodeled with a nice outdoor seating area and eateries. Serviced by Jetblue, Southwest, and American Airlines. http://www.lgb.org/travelers/

Neigborhood tips

A couple of neighborhoods you might consider for accommodations- via airbnb's or hotels: Glendale, itself has a very nice Americana outdoor mall, Glendale Galleria, restaurants, shops, libraries, parks, the vintage Alex theater, the new Museum of Neon Art, movie theaters, In-n-out burgers, Porto's Bakery. It has a very walkable city center down Brand Blvd. Many freeways border Glendale. You are not far from Griffith Park, the Observatory, Hollywood, or Downtown Los Angeles. Nice bordering neighborhoods to Glendale : Atwater Village, Eagle Rock, Los Feliz, Burbank, Silverlake, Pasadena. A few beach cities such as Malibu, Santa Monica, and Manhattan beach are approximately 40 minutes away. (Culver City, Palms, Marina Del Rey, Mar Vista might offer affordable options near the beach). Los Angeles county is very spread out but with gems to discover in many neighborhoods! Hope you do! Lyft and Uber car services are plentiful and inexpensive. Taxi's are not readily available.
