Our dress code is formal attire. For gentlemen, a tuxedo is welcome but not required, a suit of any color with a tie or bow tie is perfect. For ladies, floor-length gowns, formal midi dress, or dressy pantsuit are all wonderful choices.

Answer
Yes, please see the travel page for recommendations for lodging but we recommend staying in the downtown Charleston area. We will be arranging transportation to and from The Island House for the wedding. Shuttles will depart from the Hotel Bennett (centrally located in downtown Charleston) with guest pickup beginning at 3:45pm ET (departing at 4:00pm ET). Shuttles will return to the Hotel Bennett following the reception.

Our ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. We ask that guests arrive at 4:30pm to ensure guests are seated in time for the ceremony.

Yes, we will be providing shuttles to and from The Island House. Shuttles will begin picking up guests from the Hotel Bennett at 3:45pm ET (departing at 4:00pm ET). Shuttles will return to the Hotel Bennett from The Island House following the reception.

Yes, there is ample parking at the Island House if you choose to drive to the wedding. We will also be arranging transportation to and from The Island House. Shuttles will be departing from and returning to the Hotel Bennett. Shuttles will begin picking up guests at 3:45pm ET (departing at 4:00pm ET)

To keep our celebration intimate, we’re only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on each invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation or RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Absolutely! Please include any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs with the venue and catering team.

While we love your little ones, our wedding events will be reserved for children who are included on the invitation. If your children are invited, their names will be listed on your invitation or RSVP. We appreciate your understanding.
