Travel and Places to Stay

Since Summit County is a popular winter destination, we were unable to work out any special block rates with local hotels. We have listed some hotels near the venue as well as Airbnb and Homeaway rental sites. Groups traveling together or that know each other may find better rates using Airbnb or Homeaway. For those visiting us from out-of-state, please take note that traffic and weather conditions on Interstate 70 can be tricky. If you are coming to Silverthorne the day of the wedding, please leave yourself plenty of time and be careful in the ski traffic, it can take up to three hours from Denver depending on the time of day (morning) and road conditions. Likewise, if you are catching a flight on Sunday, make sure to plan extra time for the afternoon traffic back to Denver. The hill from the Eisenhower tunnel to Silverthorne is quite long and steep - gear down to preserve your brakes! **As of 2/5/2018, Saturday's forecast calls for snow, which will increase ski traffic.**
