Detroit Institute of Arts
A fantastic art museum inside and out! It also happens to be where Jenna and Alex had their first date! If you want to recreate, spend some time with the Dutch Masters followed by a glass of wine in Kresge Court.
Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory
If you're interested in a little bit of nature, Belle Isle is a quick drive that has some great views of the downtown skyline, an awesome conservatory, and fresh water aquarium. Also a driving range for those interested in hitting some balls.
Eastern Market
Will be popping on Saturday morning with all the harvest season bounty! Eastern Market Brewing Company or Detroit Distillery for a beverage and plenty of places for lunch as well. Supino's has especially yummy pizza.
Corktown
A great neighborhood just outside downtown. Lots of bars and restaurants to check out and some cute shopping. You can also check out the recently renovated Michigan Central Station.
