Where to begin with Kenny 'Ray' Allen? Alex first met Ken through Dom about a decade ago, and since then, he’s become an integral part of the friend circle. A lot of Alex’s alcohol tolerance can be credited to Ken, thanks to the many Beer Olympics he’s hosted, legendary bonfire parties, and his 'economic' reasoning behind why Keystone and Hamms are the best choices to 'get where we want to go.' Ken is also famous for hiding beer cans around the house of whoever’s hosting, a prank that never gets old. Alex feels incredibly lucky to have Ken in their life, even if their liver sometimes disagrees!
Brianna Bentley
Maid of Empathy
Brianna has been Emma’s guiding friend since third grade, the first to welcome the new “weird kid” with a flower in her hair and a smile after Emma transferred to Woodland Elementary. Brianna has always been a reminder of the importance of empathy, teaching Emma how to approach life with compassion while still setting healthy boundaries along the way. Known for embodying the color yellow, Brianna brings warmth and a welcoming presence to every stage of life. Emma is continually amazed by Brianna’s ability to remain kind and authentic, no matter how challenging life gets. Along with Danielle, Brianna shares a special tattoo with Emma—"Same Garden, Different Flower"—which symbolizes their unbreakable bond of friendship. Brianna’s kindness and unwavering support make her the perfect "Maid of Empathy."
Audrey Berry
Maid of Excitement
Audrey and Emma have known each other for almost 5 years now, which just so happens to be the same amount of time that she and Darwin have been together—how crazy is that? From day one, Audrey’s energy has been nothing short of contagious. Whether it’s an impromptu adventure, a good home cooked meal, or simply the joy of giving and receiving gifts, Audrey’s enthusiasm fills every room. Audrey has a way of seeing the bright side and finding excitement in the smallest moments. She’s currently studying nursing, showing the same dedication and heart in her work as she does in everything she loves. Audrey’s presence in life has been a constant reminder to find joy, even when life feels tough, and I’m beyond lucky to have her by my side as my “Maid of Excitement.”
Darwin Bostwick

Darwin and Alex have known each other since Darwin was half his height. Their friendship truly began in Emma’s basement after a memorable exchange of pranks involving a well-timed fart. Over the years, Darwin has certainly grown up—both literally and figuratively—and has thankfully left those antics behind. Whether it’s golf trips, talking soccer, or games of Magic: The Gathering, he has been a constant source of fun and great company throughout the years.
Matt Frank
Groomsman
Matt is Alex’s younger brother and the youngest sibling of the family. His perseverance throughout life has been nothing short of inspiring, continually impressing those around him. He and Alex share a laid-back nature, a similar taste in music, and even an almost identical laugh. They also love cats #catdads. Like any true sibling bond, their connection is filled with shared memories—including Matt’s well-documented childhood love for Zoboomafoo. He’s always been the one to bring humor and a fresh perspective to any situation, making him a great brother.
Katie Hadfield
Maid of Dedication
Katie is the middle sibling of the Frank family and Alex’s sister. Through her siblinghood with Alex, she and Emma have shared a friendship for years. One of their many common interests is their love for Avatar: The Last Airbender and Snoopy, which has sparked plenty of spurred shopping links of fan gear. If you’ve ever been at a white elephant exchange, you’ve likely seen Emma sneak away with Katie’s gifts—just part of the fun! Katie’s dedication to others is unmatched, whether it's in caring for loved ones or excelling in her studies. She’s graduates in Spring 2025 as a Physician Assistant, a testament to her hard work and perseverance. Emma has always admired Katie’s ability to stay strong through life, serving as a constant source of support and stability for her family. Her strength, loyalty, and selflessness make her the perfect "Maid of Dedication."
Seth Hadfield
Groomsman
Seth is now Katie’s husband, but he has been part of the family long before that. A longtime friend of Alex, he has also been a golf partner, a newly minted Magic: The Gathering enthusiast, and more recently, a devoted Casio aficionado. Emma once described their friendship as an “ADHD echo chamber,” capturing the energetic and dynamic nature of their bond. Seth is someone everyone loves to be around, someone who brings laughter, and someone who always appreciates good sake.
Danielle Heit
Maid of Resilience
Danielle has been a constant presence in Emma’s life since third grade, and the two have shared every part of their journeys together—from cozying up on the couch reading as kids, to living as #roomies in Lansing. Over the years, Emma has been continually inspired by Danielle’s resilience, marveling at her ability to stand strong and keep moving forward despite everything life has thrown her way. Emma can't imagine life without Danielle and their deep, unshakable friendship. She knows without a doubt that Danielle will always be there, standing by her side through it all. The bond between Danielle, Emma, and Brianna is beautifully captured in the matching tattoo they share, reading "Same Garden, Different Flower," a perfect reflection of their triad of strength and support. Danielle is truly the definition of resilience, and that’s why she’s the "Maid of Resilience."
Alexis Montney

Alexis and Emma’s friendship dates back to seventh grade when they first met in band—Emma on the French horn and Alexis on the clarinet. Alexis and Emma have a number of shared interests like tending to house plants, spoiling kitties, or exploring national parks. Alexis was chosen as the Maid of Creativity for her boundless imagination and her ability to see things from a unique perspective. Whether she’s crafting the perfect cocktail, planning an adventure, or bringing a fresh perspective to any craft, she does it all with thoughtfulness and enthusiasm. She’s always up for traveling, soccer, or simply enjoying life’s little moments—exactly what makes her the perfect "Maid of Creativity."
Max Montney

Max and Alex have been friends since Max first started dating Alexis. Over time, they discovered a shared love for good bourbon, Godzilla, investing ($TXRH and $PLTR to the moon!), and sports. Their in-state rivalry brings plenty of friendly banter—“boo scUM”—but at the end of the day, Max is someone Alex is grateful to call a friend. Whether it’s debating their latest stock picks or rewatching classic monster movies, their conversations are always lively. Max’s passion and sharp sense of humor make him an invaluable part of Alex’s life.
Dom Shelby

Alex met Dom back in 2014 when he first went to Oakland community college. Dom was the original person who got Alex into Magic: The Gathering and his wallet has suffered since. For a brief period, they were also roommates and you’ll hear them yell “Roomie here!”. Dom is definitely somebody you want in your circle. From traveling to New Orleans for new years, slinging cardboard at Jesters, being the guy who queues up ska at the local bar, or just hanging out smashing a case of long drink, Dom is somebody that Alex is grateful to have in his life.
Jessica Vilca
Maid of Joy
Jessica is Emma’s work best friend and has truly been her rock through thick and thin. Wherever Jessica goes, she brings joy and light, effortlessly brightening every room she walks into. She’s always there to remind Emma to focus on the positives, even when things get tough. With a keen eye for capturing the moment, Jessica is often seen snapping photos and curating the perfect scene for her growing social media presence. Her ability to find the silver lining in any situation is contagious, and she consistently encourages Emma to embrace life’s fun side. Whether it’s a relaxing spa day, a fancy lunch, or dancing the night away, she’s always organically encouraging anyone around her to embrace life’s fun side.
