FAQs

Question

What should you wear?

Answer

For the Mass portion of the wedding, we ask that guests wear church-appropriate attire (Semiformal). For example; dresses and skirts for women, and kakis/dress pants and button down shirts for men. For the reception, feel free to bring a change of lighter semi-formal clothes if you’d like—we want everyone to be comfortable and not overheat. Please no jeans or t-shirts.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors. The reception will be a mix of both indoors and outdoors—tables and food will be inside under cover with the Arboretum doors open, while the dance floor will be outside. There is a large covered area so there will be no problem if there is rain.

Will there be a shuttle to or from the wedding or pre-wedding events?

Answer

There will not be shuttles provided for the wedding or other events. We recommend carpooling or arranging your own transportation.

Answer

There’s no required theme or color scheme—wear what makes you comfortable! We just ask that guests avoid wearing white dresses.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you’d like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to the Bride's Family's house [27536 Bud Vaughan Rd. Junction City, OR 97448] or bring it with you to the wedding. A wedding card box and gift table will also be available at the reception.

Question

What is the easiest way to get from the church to the reception?

Answer

From the church, take Willamette Street and turn onto E 33rd Avenue near the post office. Continue and turn left onto Hilyard Street, then take a right onto E 30th Avenue after passing Albertsons. Follow E 30th until it ends, then turn left onto Franklin Boulevard. After passing the Shell station, turn right onto Franklin Boulevard East. Take the second left onto Seavey Loop Road and follow it straight until it ends. Turn right onto Frank Parrish Road and continue until you reach the gravel parking lot for the Pisgah Trailhead. From there, signs will be posted directing you to the arboretum.
