Why is there no gift registry?

Answer

After living together for almost 6 years, we have slowly acquired all the things we could ever need for our home. Instead of gifts, we are asking for contributions towards our honeymoon. If you know anything about us you know we are always traveling, whether it is to see friends across the country, for festivals or shows. This trip will be a little different: our first real trip together, just us in a place where no one knows us. The fund can be found at https://www.honeyfund.com/site/martinez-prevey-11-14-2026

Who is invited?

Answer

Our wedding is child free. We request that you only RSVP for those addressed on the envelope. If you have a +1, RSVP for that guest and yourself. We appreciate your understanding!

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 3:45pm. We would recommend arriving early to get a seat in the ceremony room when the venue opens at 3pm. We will not be permitting entry to the ceremony to those who arrive after 3:45pm, so arrive early!

What are some bars or restaurants we can check out if we spend more time in Portland?

We LOVE these restaurants and would highly recommend checking these out! - Scales (upscale incredible seafood) - Bar of Chocolate (specialty martini bar 10/10) - Yosaku (best sushi in Portland) - The Shop (oyster bar serving raw bar and various other specialty seafood plates) - Via Vecchia (upscale Italian) - Lucky Cheetah (upscale asian fusion) - Luna (rooftop bar overlooking the city with amazing cocktails and small plates)

What happens after the reception?

Answer

The reception at Grace will end promptly at 9pm. Our master plan is to have everyone walk from Grace to $3 Dewey's as a wedding procession through downtown. The walk is not far and we would love for everyone who is able, to join us! If you are unable to walk but still want to party, you can drive and meet us at $3 Dewey's! $3 Dewey's will be open to us at 9pm.

where do we park?

Answer

There are parking garages all over downtown Portland. If you plan to drive to the ceremony at Grace, you can park at the garage at 389 Congress St, Portland, ME. This is the closest garage and it is around the block from Grace. We do however recommend walking instead of driving if you are staying in town with us!
