We’re Getting Married!!!

We began talking online after meeting each other through a mutual acquaintance. We met officially for the first time in person at the beginning of the school year at Panther Creek High School. Claudia was an incoming Freshman, Alex was starting his Sophomore year. After we met in person we began dating almost immediately within a week or two. We went to our first dance at homecoming a month later and slow danced together to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” which became our song. High School was a challenge and we were off and on, (High School Drama, am I right?). But we always found our way back together. We went to 3 proms together. Alex’s Junior & Senior, and Claudia’s Senior. After High School we grew even closer, worked at the same job together for almost a year where Alex was actually Claudia’s manager (yikes), and even attended the same community college for a bit. We both moved several times after High School but always made time to see each other on weekends and sometimes during the week. Survived Covid together and enjoyed many peaceful walks while the country was a ghost town. In June of 2023 we got our first place together in Cary, in a little town home. Later that same year Alex proposed to Claudia in August on their 8th anniversary of dating. Now we look forward to our wedding in October at which time we will have been together for over 10 years! Wow! We are both very excited to take this next step and are forever blessed that we got to meet our soul mate at such a young age. To the next generation of Cataldo’s!
