We’re getting married!

It all began the summer of 2023. We knew of each other through an amateur rocketry club (Purdue Space Program’s Student Launch team) the semester before, but didn’t really become friends until the summer. We officially met at a summer research program at Purdue where all students in the program lived on the same floor in First Street Towers dorm and we had a lot of fun with the group. We quickly grew in friendship during that summer at Purdue. Continuing our friendship into the school year (while knowing we liked each other), we sought wisdom from numerous friends, some now in the wedding party, and began officially dating in November 2023. We continued in the rocketry club, cooking together, and watching Purdue sports together. Our first stretch of long distance was in the summer of 2024 due to internships as Alex went to Boston, MA and Camille to Clemson, SC. After coming back to Purdue, we spent more time cooking and watching Purdue sports while continuously getting to know each other more intentionally. Alex graduated with his degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering in May 2025 and shortly after began work in Phoenix, AZ. Camille went to Huntsville, AL for an internship in the summer and back to Purdue to finish her undergraduate degree in the fall. During their fall break trip in October 2025, Alex proposed to Camille in the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix and lovingly surprised her. Camille finished her degree in mechanical engineering in December 2025 and is currently living and working in St. Louis, MO. Our love continues across distance, and we plan to settle in St. Louis shortly after the wedding. We are so excited to invite family and friends across the country to witness a celebration of our love and unity at our wedding in Cleveland, OH! We hope that it is a 10/10 day for everyone involved.
