Alexander & I met about 6 years ago through mutual friends. In 2022 Alexander "liked" a photo on Facebook.. so I did what any single girl would do.. slide right into his DM :) We talked for what seems like forever.. Alexander finally convinced me that he wasn't going to kill me and I agreed to hang out.. We spent 2 hours driving around Dallas drinking coffee just talking about anything and everything. After that first hang out we talked a little more, then made arrangements to go to the track for Test n Tune as a "date".. I knew then I was in for a ride.. Alexander & I struggled with if we wanted to "date" or just "be friends" at one point Alexander even friend zoned me.. but after a couple days he was back in my DMs lol :) I was driving home from Tulsa when Alexander asked me to come over. That night we sat around the dining room table with a cup of coffee and made "rules" about trying this "dating thing" #1 we aren't going to be serious but just having fun. #2 we wont be moving in with each other #3 His friends are his and mine are mine.. fast forward to 2025 we live together, we are getting married in December. We basically have the same group of friends. Alexander loves all thing drag racing. So most weekends you will find us at the race track. Summer of 2024 Alexander broke the engine in his car and we spent a few weeks working with hand tools in the middle of summer in a hot garage. Doing anything we could so that he could continue to chase his dreams.. We finally got it fixed and loaded up to go hit up a race that was going on in town. Alexander made a "test pass" my heart was in my butt the whole time until he crossed the finish line safely. I get back to our pit and find that Alexander hasn't made it back. I start to get worried. Finally I see that he's broken down at the end of the track so, I scootered over to find Alexander on 1 knee asking to spend forever with me.. We've met some amazing people along the way.. Lost some of our favorite souls.. We've overcome some huge obstacles in our life... but no matter what we always had and will always have LOVE.. Thank you for joining us for the ride.
