When does a US Passport expire?

Please note that another country may NOT allow you entry with a US passport that is going to expire *within six months*. Please check the expiration date of your passport!

Yes. The Villa Grancassa hotel is the venue for the ceremony and reception.

No! Please make sure that you have a valid passport to travel internationally.

How can we prepare for the wedding?

Answer

Travel: Please monitor the prices of flights and trains, and book your tickets! Rome has two airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino). There is a shuttle train that departs from Fiumicino and arrives at Roma Termini (central train station). Please beware of pickpockets in Rome. Then, you can take a TrenItalia train from Roma Termini to Cassino. A bus, taxi, or rented car can be taken from Cassino to San Donato. Attire: Please pack semi-formal, yet comfortable attire. Some events will be outdoor on the hotel terrace. The weather may be very hot and become cool in the evening. There will be drinks, lots of food, and dancing. Stay: There are 26 hotel rooms blocked at Grancassa and available to reserve (via email for the discounted rate) from Friday 6/26 to Sunday 6/28. There are other hotels and Airbnbs in San Donato! Guests may reserve a hotel room, with a discounted price, at Villa Grancassa, the venue for this wedding from Friday, 6/26/2026 - Sunday 6/28/2026 (you may rent beyond Sunday, without the discount). To reserve a room for the Clary Nielsen wedding, please email villagrancassahotel@gmail.com and enjoy a beautiful Italian Villa transformed into a hotel. There are additional hotels and Airbnbs in San Donato Val di Comino that are also stunning and affordable. If you face difficulty finding accommodations, please feel free to reach out to us.
