Maid of Honor
We met in high school at Valley Lu. Though we weren't much of friends and more-so acquaintances freshman year, we really became close sophomore year. She is an amazing friend and honorary sister. Shes been there with me for the good, the ugly, through the hardest years of my life, through the distance after I moved schools and even after high school. She's been my confidant before the wedding, during the wedding process, and probably will be long after the wedding. She has always been there for me to text or call and it's like we pick up right where we left off. Our friendship means the world to me and I'm beyond privileged to have her as my Maid of Honor.

Sam and I met when we were little playing soccer. She was a lot better than I was but you wouldn't know cause I distracted her from actually playing by talking, doing cartwheels in the middle of games, and goofing off with her. She was my first real girl friend and it shows by how long shes stuck around my crazy self. I didn't see her again until 6th grade when I attended Peace Lutheran and once again we were best friends goofing off and playing volleyball together. At Valley Lu we continued to play volleyball and even though we didn't have close lockers or ANY classes together, I knew I could go to her for anything. She's dependable, loyal, and I love making her laugh because it makes me laugh. She could get me to smile through anything and I'm blessed to have her as my Maid of Honor.

When I asked for a little sister I thought I’d have someone to play barbies or makeup with. Instead, he gave me this little power house soccer player. We still grew up close despite her annoying tendency of being my shadow. When I got to high school I began confiding in her and she surprised me with her supportive wisdom. Since then shes been the first one I tell almost anything to. I've cried in her arms and she's cried in mine. I've learned that having a sister is merely a title. Being there like she's been there for me, supporting me, slapping me straight sometimes, never ever judging me, and always pushing me to be a better person is why I am so happy to have her by my side on my wedding day.

Julia came around at a hard and lonely time in my life. I had left Valley Lu and was doing online school which meant I had no friends to easily call on. We met at a Christmas party and kinda drifted together, and because we both went to Hopevale Church I got to see her often. We clicked instantly and had inside jokes in just a few short hours, exchanged numbers, got together frequently, and found we are very similar. She came to me as a little light in a time of searching. She kept me grounded and is just an absolute joy to see and have in my life. I am so thankful that God put her in my life as a light to guide me back to the surface of the ocean, and as a pillar of support on my wedding day.

LoLo! This girl right here. Whether its staying with me after volleyball practice and talking and laughing or helping me out with the drama club at Peace or coming with me to a concert, she has always showered me with love and friendship. Even though we hadn't seen each other in years every time I reached out she never turned me down and always made me feel valued and more confident in myself just by carrying herself so confidently. She is so genuine in the way she treats others and loves on everyone around her. Her kindness is a constant reflection of who she is as a person and more importantly an example of Christ to me. I aspire to be like her, a beautiful person inside and out with a heart of gold. Having her standing beside me on my wedding day means more to me than she'll ever know.
