Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Feels insulting that you'd have to ask, but yes come expecting a full open bar, we will need everyone to carry their weight and drink our money's worth.

How do I get to Furry Creek?

Answer

We will arrange shuttles that go from downtown Vancouver to Furry Creek and back. If you wish you can drive there as well as parking will be available which is around 45 min one way. It is easy to Uber to the venue from Metro Vancouver however we would not recommend attempting to call an Uber back from the venue.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Since our ceremony and parts of the evening will take place outdoors on the golf course, please wear comfortable shoes that are easy to walk in. We strongly recommend avoiding stilettos or thin heels, as they will likely sink into the grass. Block heels, wedges, or formal flats are great alternatives so you can dance the night away!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are so excited to see everyone dressed to the nines! The dress code is Black Tie. For Men: A traditional black tuxedo with a black bow tie. We highly recommend completing the look with a cummerbund. For Ladies: We kindly ask that you wear a floor-length gown or a very formal midi dress. Our color palette for the evening is inspired by the West Coast landscape: Olive, Navy, or Sage.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

While we’re hoping for a clear Vancouver sky, Furry Creek has beautiful indoor backup spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows, so we’ll be celebrating comfortably regardless of the weather!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate the guests specifically listed on your invitation. If your invite says “and Guest,” feel free to bring a date!
