What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 3:30 PM, so please plan to arrive by 3:00 PM to get settled in and find your seat.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
We’d love to have them there! If your little ones are invited, your invitation will be addressed to the family. Just a heads-up: the hotel’s pool is 16+, so they won’t be able to swim if that is part of the plan. Check out our travel page for family-friendly hotels in the area.

What should I wear?

It’s black tie optional, so feel free to dress up to your heart’s desire!

Is there parking available?
Answer
Yes, parking is available at the hotel. If you’re staying overnight, self parking is available. If you’re not staying at Oak Bay Beach Hotel, there’s valet parking.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors, so please keep in mind there’s some grass, and stilettos might be a little tricky. The reception will be indoors.

What’s the food situation?

We’ll have a plated dinner at the reception, with a full bar available. During cocktail hour, there will be passed appetizers with wine and beer to enjoy while mingling.

We’d love to know if you’re coming by June 20th. You can RSVP right on our website once they are live.

Where should we stay?
Answer
We’ve reserved a room block at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, and we’d love for you to stay there! To book, you can call the hotel’s reservation team at 1-800-668-7758 or email stay@oakbaybeachhotel.com. Just mention you are part of the Dedaj-Raduechel Wedding Room Block to get 20-25% off your stay. Note that the pricing the hotel quotes you is in CAD, rates will be approximately $350 USD per night depending on currency exchange at the time of payment. There are also plenty of other great hotels in Victoria, and we recommend the Fairmont Empress in Victoria Harbour if you’re looking for another option!

When should I book travel?

We highly recommend booking your travel and accommodations as soon as possible. It’s a holiday weekend in Canada during summer, so hotels, ferries, and other travel options will fill up quickly.
