Happily Ever After!

Alyssa had been working at a furniture store in Las Vegas called Living Spaces for 3 years as a visual stylist. Alex was a truck driver that would come help the Las vegas Living Spaces location every so often to lift heavy furniture in support of the visual team. Alex eventually became a full-time employee at Living Spaces. Working in the warehouse. Alyssa and Alex were just coworkers. There were ZERO intentions until one day Alex had to help Alyssa triple stack some furniture in the front of the store. While they were working side by side, they had a memorable conversation which then led them to laugh nonstop. Alyssa and Alex built a friendship until it grew into them being so excited to go to work just to see each other. Alyssa and Alex’s relationship went from coworkers, to friends, to truly falling in love with one another. Their chemistry has led them to tough decisions but decisions that brought them where they are today. The happiest they’ve ever been!

We had planned a family vacation to Disneyland. Alex at 40 years old had never been to Disneyland. This shocked myself and decided to plan this trip as a family to visit the most magical place on earth! We invited, Ashley, Alex’s niece with us since she was just around the corner from disneyland and we just adore her. We all had so much fun! Our day at Disneyland was coming to an end. Carson, Alex, Ashley, and I headed to the center of the park in front of the castle. We all took seats on the ground waiting for the firework show and music to start. Once the firework show started, We all stood up watching and smiling at this beautiful moment as a family. The fireworks were breathtaking and the music was the cherry on top. Carson was in front of me and Alex was behind me with his niece. While watching the fireworks I felt a few taps on my lower back but I assumed it was Alex. I swung away his hand and continued to watch the fireworks. I was so into the fireworks at the moment haha. Moments later, Alex, tapped my lower back again and as I turned around to tell him to just watch the firworks, I see him on one knee with thousands of people behind him in the street of Disneyland watching us. Alex was so nervous he was shaking but It was the most romantic moment for us both. I of course said yes!!! And if anyone knows Alex they know he does not like attention on himself so as this maybe something easy for someone else to do, it was completely out of Alex’s comfort zone which made it even more romantic. He faced a fear to ask me to marry him in the most magical way. It was perfect and one of the happiest days of our lives!
