Please RSVP by September the 12th! This will allow us adequate time to give an accurate headcount to all vendors!
We love your kiddos, truly! While children are welcome, if they’re listed on your invitation or RSVP, we’d love for you to think of our wedding as a well-earned date night! There won’t be any specific kid-focused activities, and we’re hoping the evening can be a fun, relaxing break for all our parent-friends to enjoy! Just a heads-up: Around 8:30 PM, our dance floor playlist will shift to something a little more… spicy. Think: unfiltered lyrics and grown-up vibes. Up until then, the music will be family-friendly, but we’re carving out that last hour for the uncut versions of our favorite songs!
Semi-formal or cocktail attire: We would love our guests to wear black, dark colors, or deep autumn hues. Tuxedos and gowns are welcome if that is your preference, as well as suits, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or slacks paired with a nice top or jacket all work perfectly. Jeans are welcome for men but please keep the wash as dark as possible! Our venue is mainly outdoors with pavement, grass, and natural stone- please keep this in mind when choosing shoes. Most importantly we would love for you to wear makes you feel comfortable and happy! Whatever you wear will look amazing!
Most shoes will be fine for our venue. That said, please just be aware our dance floor is a natural stone patio. We would suggest bringing some “dancing shoes” like flats, flips flops, hey dudes, crocs, or just using extra caution on the dance floor!
We have started a First Home Fund, which can be found here on our website, as homeownership is the next goal in our lives. There will be a card box at the wedding as well. Please, do not feel obligated to bring or give anything but yourself to our wedding. We’ve added a few household things to our registry — mostly “bucket list” kitchen items we’d love someday! They are definitely more on the luxury side, so please don’t feel pressured. We truly don’t expect anyone to purchase them, but wanted to include them as fun options. Our biggest hope is that guests consider contributing to our First Home Fund, which would mean the world to us. Most importantly, please know that simply being present on our big day is the greatest gift we could ever receive!
Tacos! There will be a buffet style taco bar, along with chips, and all the usual fixings.
Parking is located just behind the reception hall. There will be signage to direct you for ease. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ANYWHERE IN FRONT OF THE VENUE such as the road, driveway, or grass lawn.
Yes! The night’s not over when the reception ends—we’re keeping the party going at our house in Royal (about an hour and 15 minutes from the venue). We’ll have a few drinks, music, and hopefully a bonfire if the weather’s nice. We’re really looking forward to this part of the night since the reception ends a little early. If you’re staying in Hot Springs, it’ll be super easy to head our way and keep the fun going! This part of the night is adults-only, so keep that in mind. Please, consider BYOB, and bringing a lawn chair is a great idea if you want a comfy seat by the fire.
