Alex and Robin have known each other for over a decade. However, it took them nearly 10 years before they would begin their relationship. Robin noticed this, and began laughing at everything he shared - commenting on each of them, she even once fake proposed marriage in a comment due to the fact that they have a very similar sense of humor. He became insistent that the two get together for a date to see how things might go - and after two years of long distance, and a year of living together, the rest is history.
