Travel Note
Please note that since our wedding is on the Newport Naval Base, security is strict. Entry onto the base is limited to the guest list we have provided; you MUST bring your ID with you in order to be allowed onto the base. You may drive onto the base as long as everyone in your vehicle is a listed guest. Uber, Lyft, and other ride shares are not permitted on the base, but can drive you to the gate and you would have to walk to the venue from the gate (about a 10-15 minute walk).
Flight
There are a couple options when traveling to Rhode Island Option One: Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport - This is the only international airport in Rhode Island, located in Warwick, RI. (downside: less direct flights from the West Coast, expect 1 layover) - Travel Time to Newport from the airport is 40 minutes. - There are 10 rental car agencies located at the airport - Uber/Lyft: Approximately $ Option Two: Boston Logan International Airport - This is the second closest airport to Newport, RI. (offers direct flights from West Coast) - Travel Time from Boston Airport to Newport, RI is 1 hour and 30 minutes. - Uber/Lyft: Approximately $
