If you intend to visit London before heading to Kent, then either Gatwick or Heathrow are great options. There are direct trains from the airport into central London. If you are heading to Kent first, then Gatwick is the closest airport, but Heathrow is also an option.
There are a number of options to travel from either Gatwick or Heathrow to Kent. There are trains, but these will involve transferring in central London (https://www.thetrainline.com/en-us). There are also taxi companies which may be easier, particularly if a group of you are arriving together. This completely depends whether you wish to spend additional time visiting other areas than Kent. Some people are spending a night or two in London before and after the wedding and others are going to use this opportunity to head to France after! If you are heading straight to Kent first, we would suggest flying in no later than Thursday morning so as to beat the jet lag and be ready to party on the Friday!
Not far! There is a fast train from Ashford International station that gets into central London in less than 40 minutes. There are also other local trains that take just over an hour! (https://www.thetrainline.com/en-us)
We are arranging for transport to collect guests from the Hythe Imperial Hotel (leaving at around 11:15 am) to bring them to the wedding venue. We are also arranging transport to take guests back to the hotel after the wedding.
