Question

Should I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

We're excited you can join us! To simplify the process and reduce our environmental impact, we're solely accepting RSVPs through our wedding website. It's quick and easy to use, and you can find the link directly on this website's RSVP page.

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

To ensure an accurate headcount for our caterer and venue, we kindly request wedding ceremony and reception RSVPs by April 25, 2025. We understand life can be busy, so if you have any questions or need more time to RSVP, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at just2ratsinlove@gmail.com.

Where is the wedding and how do we get there?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Switchyard Park in Bloomington, IN. If you prefer to drive yourself (or carpool!), there will be ample parking available at the venue off of West Grimes Lane. You're welcome to leave your car overnight and pick it up the following morning. To ensure everybody can enjoy the party worry-free, we'll have designated drivers (DDs) available to transport guests from the reception to Bloomington hotels and starting at 8:00 pm and running until 11:00 pm. Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at the Main Stage, and we'll have some outdoor covering in place in case of rain. The Main Stage is a short walk from the parking lot. Following the ceremony, the reception will be held indoors at the comfortable Pavilion for an evening of true Bougher/Gausman partying!

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at a hotel?

Answer

We have a wedding block reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomington, about 2 miles away from the wedding venue. Please look at the "Travel" section on our website to find the link and more information.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We'd love for you to celebrate with us! To ensure we have enough seating and delicious food for everyone, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, their name will be listed alongside yours. We understand this may not be possible for everyone, and we appreciate your understanding.

Are my children invited?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions we can only accommodate children who are part of the wedding party and have been included in your invitation.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We're thrilled to be serving a delicious Indian buffet catered by Viji's Kitchen, a beloved local establishment in Batesville! Their food is known for its vibrant flavors and authentic recipes. We'll also have a special dessert table featuring some of our favorite homemade treats, lovingly prepared by our talented friends. We can't wait to celebrate with you and share this delicious experience!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

YEA BABYYYYYY. We'll be raising a toast to our love with a selection of beer, wine, and seltzers available throughout the evening! While venue restrictions limit us from offering any hard liquor, we've ensured a wide variety of refreshing drinks for everyone to enjoy. Please Note: Due to strict venue rules, no outside alcohol is permitted. This includes any bottles, shooters, or other containers of alcohol. Unfortunately, failure to comply with this policy could result in the entire event being shut down by venue staff. So please leave the Fireball at home, drinks are on us :)

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we have set up a registry through Zola, which you can find at the top of this page. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

What time should I arrive and when is the reception over?

Answer

We appreciate you thinking ahead about our special day! The ceremony begins at 4pm and we would appreciate you to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to start time. The reception will wrap up around 10:30 pm. We'll be sure to post confirmed details about arrival times, ceremony and reception schedules, and more on this website closer to the date.

Will there be an after-party?

Answer

Yea buddy! Bloomington wouldn't be Bloomington without keeping the celebration going. After the official reception wraps up, we invite you to join us for some post-wedding fun on Kirkwood Avenue. We won't have a designated after-party location, but there are several fantastic bars and pubs within walking distance where you can continue to celebrate with us and fellow guests. We encourage you to explore the options and choose whichever spot best suits your vibe!
