If you’re in the mood for Italian, Reilly Craft Pizza and Drink is a great option in downtown! The restaurant is in a vintage space with vaulted ceilings, a beer garden, and a basement bar (also one of Alex and Emily’s faves).
If you’re in the mood for casual Mexican food then try out Street Tacos and Beer Co. in downtown. This fast-food style restaurant has tacos, burritos, and an amazing salsa bar.
If you’re in the mood for a burger, check out Lindy’s on 4th! Just outside of downtown, this restaurant has creative burgers, tater tots, and fries.
Anello is an intimate Italian restaurant that’s perfect for a date night. Their menu is small, but incredible (their focaccia is killer). Hop over next door to Crooked Tooth Brewing Co. after. (-:
The Tucson Museum of Art is one of Alex and I’s favorites in downtown. This museum has a great selection of contemporary art both inside and outside the building.
For something to do outdoors, drive 15 minutes outside of downtown to see the beautiful plants at the botanical garden.
Less than 10 minutes from downtown, the Reid Park Zoo is a great way to get outdoors. The park has elephants, meerkats, giraffes, bears, birds, and more!
For a challenging hike, try checking out Tumamoc! The trail is paved, roughly 3 miles, and has a 950 foot elevation gain.
