Question

Do I need to download anything special?

Answer

You can use Zoom through a web browser (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Chromium Edge recommended) but it will have limited functionality. It works best if you download the Zoom app.

Question

Will I be on camera? Can I talk or just listen?

Answer

We will open the video conference at 6:45 pm EST. The default setting for participants will start with audio on (so you can talk to us) and video off - if you have a camera we will enable it manually so we can see your smiling faces :) Once the ceremony begins around 7pm, all guests will be put on view/listen only mode, so you will be muted and only able to see video of presenters. Toward the end, when it comes time for toasting, we will return the power to control your own video and mic.

Answer

Yes. We will make a video of the virtual celebration available afterwards.
