In a galaxy far far away…two strangers met, each already in a relationship. One remembered meeting the other (I bet you can guess who). So when a few years later these strangers saw each other on a dating app… one of them thought “Oh! We’ve met before. I remember them being very cool.” The other thought “hmm seems nice enough I guess we could meet for the first time ever because I don’t recognize them at all” It wasn’t until one night a bat got caught in the house that they began to talk non stop about the fun run we likely need to throw together soon to cure rabies. This lead to us not being able to wait until our originally planned first date and we met for breakfast the very next morning. Bat still remained in the house.

On the anniversary of when we first met, I thought that my parents were being a pain by telling me there was no other day we could meet up to celebrate my dads birthday. Turns out it was so Alex could propose in front of family. Here I was getting things together for a birthday celebration and it ended up being an engagement celebration. Gutenprank number one. Then Alex said he had to go to pick up my anniversary gift, to which I said “this ring isn’t it?!” He came back with the cutest little kitten! Gutenprank number two.
