We met working at Linkedin and then a few months later went on a trip to the Bahamas with a few friends. During that trip, we got closer to each other, but were still "just friends". Later, once we returned from the Bahamas, we realized that maybe there was something more there (Alex was told this countless times by her friends) and the rest is history!

We traveled to Switzerland last December and had the most amazing trip traveling through beautiful cities. While in Interlaken, Derreck planned a day to walk near a lake. We took a bus there and when we got off we immediately set foot for the waterfront. It was there that Derreck proposed and he even had a photographer on the side waiting for us! We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you all. See you in Costa Rica!
