Our story is a unique and memorable one. We met during the pandemic, both navigating the end of previous relationships. My sister-in-law, Delight (thanks, Delight!), who happened to work with Dee, invited him to one of our family dinner nights and introduced us. I immediately thought he was charming but decided to wait a few months before making my move. One evening, I texted Delight, asking when she might invite Dee over for dinner again. To my surprise, just a minute later, I received a text from Dee himself! Naturally, I was caught off guard and had to take a moment to compose myself before responding. From there, we began texting and talking on the phone, quickly getting to know each other—after all, there wasn’t much else to do during covid. Fast forward four years, and here we are, ready and excited to take the next step in our journey together!
