¡Que Viva El Amor!

Alex and Darcie’s love story began in the fall of 2019 while they were working for a wedding planning company. They spent months falling in love by opening up to one another, sharing favorite foods, taking walks around San Diego and making each other laugh. The first year of their relationship was spent getting reeeeal close as a global pandemic pushed not only them, but their families closer together. By 2022, they moved out of their parents homes and into their first apartment together. Through the years, Alex and Darcie created the feeling of home, complete with their 9 year old mixed mutt, Bella. Bella is the heart of their home and contributes so much happiness and adventure in their day-to-day lives.

Both Darcie and Alex pursued new careers and usually spent their free time traveling or planning their next big trip. While on their European summer in 2023, Alex surprised Darcie (on his birthday) with a dreamy proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. While the proposal itself was a surprise to Darcie, Alex’s thoughtfulness, romance and attention to detail came as no surprise. He has always given that in their relationship and it’s why she undoubtedly said YES! Fast forward 6 years from that fall they first met and the couple will be entering the sacred sacrament of marriage, embracing faith, love and life long commitment to one another.
