FAQs

We've answered a few questions here. However, if you need any help at all please text/call/facetime Cristina at 8622305762 or Alex at 2396752550.
Question

How much should I expect roundtrip to San Luis Potosi to cost?

Answer

If you travel from major airport from these states below, then you should expect to pay around New York -> San Luis Potosi = $500-700 Florida -> San Luis Potosi = $500-700 Texas -> San Luis Potosi = $400-600 HOWEVER, it is a lot cheaper to fly to Mexico City. If anyone is interested in flying to Mexico City, exploring Mexico City and then taking a bus up to San Luis we would be happy to help coordinate that as well.

Question

How would I get from San Luis Airport to the small village you are getting married in?

Answer

Just let us know when you arrive and we will send someone to pick you up at the airport!

Question

How long should I stay at the village you are getting married in?

Answer

It's a small village but there are a couple things to do. We recommend spending the night of the wedding and an additional day We can help coordinate activities for the day. San Luis Potosi is enormous though and we do recommend if you have the time to explore the main city!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Of course, if you are coming from the USA feel free to bring 1-2 friends/family! Parties in Mexico are big and fun!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know asap! This way we can reach out to you and make sure you are all set for the trip. We want to be as helpful as possible.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let Cristina and Alex know and we can figure something out for you.

Question

Should I rent a car in Mexico?

Answer

Up to you! We don't recommend it, we are providing transportation from San Luis Airport to the village. Plus there are taxis around. There are also a lot of hills and Mexico driving is very different from the US.

Question

What time should I arrive at the Church?

Answer

We would recommend arriving at the church at 3:50pm the latest. The mass starts at 4pm. Depending on where everyone is staying we may have shuttles pick everyone up.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a registry at Zola. If you would like to get us something from anywhere else, feel free to. Also, your presence is enough, we know it's a long trip.

Question

I don't speak Spanish, will I be lost at the wedding?

Answer

The church will be 100% in Spanish. However, we will have a program translated to English.

For all the days along the way
