The first parent to believe in Alex enough at 14 to handle 3 boys and a new puppy. 7 years later and her family has grown to the five munchkins you will see below, each with their own special place in Alex's and Colin's hearts. You may not see her standing in the front with the rest of the bridal party, but that is because she prefers it behind the scenes making sure the special day does not turn into a messy zoo. This is the special gift that she has brought to Alex's life for years: a safe place to have fun.

There was no question when it came to a best man because he is way more than Colin's older brother. He is also the best third wheel for any date the bride and groom have gone on, from their first ever to just a normal Walmart trip. The only one who truly understands all of Colin's jokes (even when Alex is dumbfounded at them). The best taste tester for all of Alex's new Pinterest recipes, especially the ones Colin won't even touch. Most of all, he is the best hype man and phone photographer a couple could get.
