We were introduced by multiple colleagues at a work event (i.e. David Guetta show) in Las Vegas. After connecting on social media and some digital flirting, we re-met a year later in San Francisco. Two weeks into dating, Alex moved his two duffel bags from London into Coley's Cow Hollow apartment. The rest is history :)
On a hike with our dads at Año Nuevo State Park, Alex dropped down on one knee. Coley was looking at the view of the ocean and did not immediately turn. After tugging on her hand, Alex held out a closed ring box and blurted out a proposal. Coley's first response was "Wait! Are you doing this for real?" After confirming that it was indeed for real, she said "Yes!". Friends and family were waiting to surprise Coley on the beach below with wine and a picnic lunch.
We love to travel almost as much as we love each other, so a destination wedding felt right for us :) We went to Nicaragua just three weeks into dating, spent Thanksgiving together in Bali a couple weeks after that, and more recently quit our jobs to travel the world. After visiting Todos Santos this past spring, we thought it was a perfect place to bring our friends and family together for our wedding.
