On or about June 23, 2017 the groom foretells his future when he witnesses his future bride walk across a stage to accept her leadership graduation certificate and whispers to himself that she is the one. She was graduating from the Hispanic Leadership Institute, and he was a spectator, completely unknown to her. Time passed, days passed and neither the bride nor groom had any contact. The groom had plans to continue his education, relocate, and also take on new endeavors. Particularly, enrolling in the same leadership institute the bridge just graduated from. It was not until July 2018 that a mutual friend of theirs recruited both of them, without their knowledge, to collaborate and work together for her non-profit organization helping first generation college students. This mutual friend (now bridesmaid), said to the bride: "you know Alex right?" to which the bride responded: "who?" The bride and groom formally sat down next to each other for the first time over undercooked chicken at a bar countertop with their friend. The bride was late and nervously talking, and the groom was quiet and made little eye contact. Over the course of the fall 2018, the bride and groom planned events together, became Costco members together, lived their respective lives and became close friends. It wasn't until January 2019 that a friend of the bride tried finding the bride a date in front of the groom (they were not dating at this time) which nervously propelled the groom to make a move (literally, a dance move) sweeping the bride off her feet (literally, onto a dance floor) and took her off the market (literally, dating websites). The bride and groom became official on January 13, 2019. This time, the bride foretold her future (and his) in that she knew she was going to be Mrs. Vasquez one day. This one day, is 2.1.2020
