Alex and Cindy first met in medical school at The Ohio State University where they barely interacted with each other. Little did they know that they would start dating a few years later in residency and planning the rest of their lives together shortly after.

On a sunny day in Portugal, we ate a breakfast of pastel de nata and traveled up the cobbestone roads of Sintra to view the Pena Palace (where Alex almost lost the ring). We then took a scenic drive to Cabo da Roca and hiked along the coast where out of nowhere Alex asked Cindy to marry him, and she said yes! We are so excited for you to to be celebrating the next chapter of our lives with us.
