Guatemala has one international airport - La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City (GUA). Antigua is just about 50 minutes away from the airport.

We recommend booking a private Shuttle or Uber to travel from Guatemala City to Antigua. Shuttle: The hotel you are staying at can help you book a private shuttle to pick you up when you arrive. They typically charge $45 - $60 per couple. We used the website Viator (trip advisor) to book our private shuttle. Uber: Ubers cost about $25 USD and can be called from the airport. Please keep in mind April 2nd is the start of Holy Week, the largest national holiday. Please give yourself some extra time to return to the airport.
