Mr. & Mrs. Angarita to-be!

Alex sat wondering who the beautiful woman sitting across from him, with green eyes and a sweet smile was. After 7 hours of talking on their first date and before even leaving the first date, Alex asked Christine on a second date. One salsa step led to another and they were in love. Within just a few days, the two knew God had made them for one another.

It had been raining that day, storming in fact. Christine's parents, Jim and Jane, were working behind the scenes to join Christine and Alex at a racing event for Jim's birthday. Everyone was excited but Alex was concerned that the weather would ruin not just the race but his long-awaited proposal as well. Luckily though, skies seemed to open up out of nowhere and as the four wandered into the woods for an impromptu hike, the green paths turned into wider meadows and larger trees. Christine wondered why they were going in so far and Alex worried that he was never going to remember how to get back. Before you know it and without hesitation, on bended knee, Alex proudly asked Christine to be his wife. She squealed, energetically said YES, and a new family was born! The group did get lost heading back to the car after all but along the way, the new couple realized that no longer alone, they would always find their way back home now. Christine was born and raised in the Midwest, her hometown is Fishers, Indiana. Alex was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, South America, and was raised in Los Angeles, California. Christine had an all American upbringing rooted in midwestern values that emphasized religion and tradition, spending summers at her Uncle's Indiana vineyard/winery. Alex grew up in an international environment, but with the same foundational values also rooted in religion and tradition. Both loved sports growing up, Alex played American football and began a lifelong passion for martial arts. Christine was a competitive gymnast for over a decade and continues to train in yoga to this day. You can expect cartwheels and flying kicks from these two on any given day. Their paths varied but remained parallel. Both studied the sciences in college - Christine graduated from Purdue University where she also studied abroad in Ireland and was an active member of Delta Gamma Sorority, eventually finding success early on in the pharmaceutical industry where she currently works as a Clinical Trial Manager. Alex graduated from college at U.C. Irvine, was active in student government and was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He then obtained a JD from Harvard Law School and an MBA from INSEAD, studying in France and Singapore. After a brief but memorable stint on the TV show Survivor, Alex went on to specialize in data privacy law, which he continues to practice to this day. Both Alex and Christine were busy following their careers and balancing their active lives but when they met in Miami in 2022, they quickly discovered that their shared traditional values and love for travel and faith made an ideal union. Today, they are planning their lives around family values, religion, and an international lifestyle with many adventures along the way.
