It all started at Little Enrico’s, a local pizzeria in our hometown, where we worked together side by side. For months, we built a friendship filled with laughter, sarcasm, and a little flirting. We always found excuses to be around each other, whether it was helping eachother during shifts or lingering a little longer after work. After months of working together, we made plans to walk the Brooklyn Bridge one evening. Neither of us knew whether it was a date or not, but apparently, everyone else, including our boss, knew it was. We spent the night under the bridge talking for hours. From there, the rest just fell into place. After a month of dates, we went to a Yankee game, yes, even though we’re both Mets fans, just so Chris could see his favorite player. Before the night was over, we made things official. Now, nine years to the day, we’re standing in front of the people who mean the most to us, ready to share our vows. From Little Enrico’s to lifelong vows, this is our happily ever after.
