How did you meet?

Answer

We met in the cafeteria one night during our first semester at CIU. We quickly bonded over a shared taste in books and music and a desire to go to England someday. After growing more and more interested in each other over the course of the semester, Alex asked Caroline to date in January of 2021 and then proposed in July of 2022.

What are you currently doing?

Answer

We are both finishing double majors in Bible and Humanities at CIU and plan to graduate in May!

What are your plans after graduation/the wedding?

Answer

We plan to stay in the Columbia area. Caroline is currently pursuing various job opportunities, and Alex will be getting his Masters of Divinity while serving as an intern at a local church.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please feel free to dress church casual! If the weather's on our side, we plan to have an outdoor dessert reception immediately following the ceremony, and we don't want anyone to be uncomfortable.
